I come from a family of teachers. My stepmother teaches 6th grade, my uncle taught high school history and my grandmother taught in a one room school house. I have been at Nibley Park School since 2009. I enjoy teaching science to middle schoolers. We have lots of fun asking questions, carrying out investigations, and sharing our understandings. We share science puns and come up with many inside jokes that keep us laughing all year long.
I finished my Masters of Science in Science Education with Montana State University summer of 2021.
As a teacher, I look forward to sharing some of my experiences and adventures as they relate to the curriculum. I have lived in Washington, Montana, Hawaii, and Utah. I am a mother to two beautiful daughters and a crazy dog. Together, we enjoy skiing, climbing, biking, hiking, rafting, camping, nightly dance performances, and belly laughs.
